Is it safe to put a treadmill on the second floor of a house?

My family is planning on getting a treadmill, and we dont have much room in the basement or main floor. is it ok if we put a treadmill that will be ran on everyday on a second floor, on hard wood floors?

thanks!

Yes, you can put it on the 2nd floor and on hardwood floors. Just put a carpet under the treadmill to protect your floors from the feet of the treadmill.

Completely safe. The weight is spread out evenly. Think of it as the same as 3/4 friends standing close together in 1 spot. The floor supports all that weight just fine and it will a treadmill too.. GL
